Other attractions in the area include the OC&T Railroad, a trip through the valley that started the oil boom, and Drake Well Museum, dedicated to the history of the oil industry in Pennsylvania.

The Venango County Historical Society is located in the historic Egbert-Mullins-Koos House.  Tour the historic home to see a glimpse of Victorian and early 20th-century life, visit our changing exhibits on local historical topics, and spend time doing research in our archive, photo collection, and research library.  Tours available daily, May 1 – Dec 24, call for times, research and tours may be scheduled by appointment all year round at (814) 432-8260.

There are many other visitor opportunities available and, of course, lots of wonderful places to eat a great meal or spend the night.
